Work with your project from a connected AI assistant

The Byblos AI MCP connector links Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT and other compatible assistants to your projects, for founders and developers who already work in an AI assistant. Sign in and approve its permissions; the assistant can then read your PRD, roadmap and brand guidelines and make the changes you allowed, under the app’s role and plan checks.

Every signed-in user can connect. Individual capabilities, including workspace search, retain their plan and permission requirements.

Connect an assistant in three steps

  1. Step 1

    Connect a client

Use the setup guide to connect Claude, ChatGPT or another compatible Streamable HTTP MCP client.

  2. Step 2

    Approve the permissions

Review the application and the access it requests before approving the connection.

  3. Step 3

    Work with live context

Ask about accessible projects and use the actions your connection permits. Revoke the connection from Connected apps when you no longer need it.

How the connection works

How an AI assistant connects to Byblos AI through MCP

Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT or another MCP client connects to Byblos AI, you sign in and approve its permissions, every call passes the same role and plan checks as the app, and the assistant works with the projects you can access, but never secret values or first-time publishing.

What you work with

Project catch-ups

Bring project documents, tasks and other accessible workspace context into your assistant conversation.

Permitted draft work

Use approved capabilities to work on Product Manager content, brand artifacts and campaign drafts.

Revocable access

Manage each approved app independently from your account’s Connected apps page.

MCP integration questions

Which assistants can connect?

Claude, Claude Code and ChatGPT connect through the Byblos AI MCP connector, and so can other clients that support remote MCP over Streamable HTTP. Every signed-in user can connect, and each tool keeps its own plan and permission requirements. You can revoke a connection at any time from Connected apps in your account.

Can the connection see every project or secret?

It can access only the projects and items your account is permitted to read, and each request still checks membership, role and plan requirements. Secret values are excluded. File discovery and reading also respect file access rules, so a connection does not bypass the permissions of the underlying workspace.

Can it publish campaign posts?

No. Workspace MCP cannot publish campaign posts or schedule them for the first time. It supports permitted draft work, review changes and eligible rescheduling. Complete first-time publication in the app. Review the requested action in your client, particularly when it can overwrite existing content or change an approval state.
